I'm an Embedded Software Engineer, with electronics design experience, who uses Linux at work (we use it as an embedded OS on some of our products). I have a dual-boot xp/ubuntu box. I use Windows XP for gaming (and have andLinux around for when I need it), but normally run Ubuntu 7.10, in which I have a VirtualBox Windows XP VM when windows is required. Main computer interests are in interoperability, which I gained a taste for at uni from my amiga days - having to generate files on amiga and print on uni PC network.
