It seems that andlinux IP conflicts with my VMWARE IP. When looking at the andlinux connection properties (TAP) I see the message:
"The IP address 192.168.11.1" for this network adapter is already assigned to adapter VMWARE Virtual Ethernet Adaptor for VMnet1 of this computer .... "

Please suggest me how to resolve this problem correctly. Can I change the andlinux IP and how to perform that in a proper way?

Use my adjusted instillation for andlinx there you can fill in the IP you like to use for andLinux.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/freetzlinux/

just run this installation on top of your already installed andLinux.

I have both running andLunx an VMware at thesame time.

If VMware is installed the it will increase the time programs need to be executed within andLinux.

This only will disappear if VMware is uninstalled, because VMware leaves some nettriveres resident in memory even VMware is not in use.

An IP address conflict occurs when two computers on a LAN (local area network) or the Internet have been assigned the same IP address. IP conflicts between two computers normally render either one or both of them unusable for network operations.
